Ooc Om Boc festival opens in Soc Trang

The Ooc Om Boc Festival 2005 is organized by the Soc Trang Department of Trade and Tourism, the Management Board of the Ho Nuoc Ngoc cultural zone and HCM City Advertising and Fair Company from November 10-16. 

The exhibition has nearly 200 stalls of 135 agricultural, animal husbandry, aquaculture, food, electronic, ceramics, cosmetics and fashion companies. 

Coming to Ooc Om Boc festival 2005, visitors will have a chance to see Ngo boat race and enjoy unique culture and arts of Khmer people. 

Within six days of the festival, the organizers will hold a dialogue with Khmer farmers in Soc Trang, a contest for animal husbandry farmers, a contest for best farmers of Soc Trang, a table-tennis contest and other cultural activities.
