Cathay Pacific launches anniversary promotion in Vietnam

Hong Kong carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has announced a promotion for September with fare discounts of 7 to 43 percent between Ho Chi Minh City and six Asian and European cities.

Under the program, to commemorate its 60th birthday and its 15th year of operations in Vietnam, a HCMC-Hong Kong economy class round trip will cost $185 against the normal fare of $326. The offer is valid from Sep 1 to Nov 30.

From Oct. 1 to Nov. 30 a return ticket to Amsterdam, Rome, London, Paris, and Frankfurt will cost $747 compared to $800 normally.
